The Academic Council meeting was held under the leadership of Chancellor: Pohanmal Obaidullah Akhundzadah. 

The participants of the meeting were Deputies, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, and Lecturers. Ordinarily, the meeting was initiated with recitation of Holly Quran by Malawi Muhammad Khan Rohani. After that, Mr. Akhundzadah welcomed the participants and wished success for them in their affairs. He proposed some issues for the sake of quality development in order to help in developing of the standard of University. 

Finally, some issues were discussed such as coordination of departments affairs, recruitment and promotion of lecturers, and so on, in respect of agenda; also, certain deliberate decisions were made about some issues.
